The blowing qualities are quite similar to the Selmer Paris 'B' Models of the same era. The Selmer Paris Balanced Models were some of the finest trumpets ever produced. If yours is a K Modified (does it say it on the leadpipe or have a number) you would be in the lower serial number of K Modifieds. Higher notes are possible but difficult to produce, and rarely called for: orchestral and concert band parts rarely go higher than C 5 or D 5.
